Julia ZenkoJulia Zenko released her first solo album VITAL in 1983. Since her debut Julia recorded more than ten solo albums. Reputedly one of the best singers and interpreters in Argentina, she has performed with many renowned artists including Mercedes Sosa, Charly Garcia, Raul Lavie, Leon Gieco, Teresa Parodi, Nito Mestre, David Lebon, Pedro Aznar, Jose Angel Trelles, Jairo, Alejandro Dolina, Chico Novarri, Susana Moncayo, Lito Vitale and Juan Carlos Baglietto.

She recorded the small opera María de Buenos Aires by Ferrer and Piazzolla with violinist Gidon Kremer in Austria, and toured Japan on separate occasions with Lito Vitale and Daniel Garcia, with Gidon Kremer, and with the cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Her international appearances include Turkey, Poland, Lithuania, Greece, Canada, the Netherlands, Austria and Germany. In Norway she has given concerts with Per Arne Glorvigen (bandoneón), Atle Sponberg (violin) and Sverre Indris Joner (piano) in Oslo, Athens and Berlin with the Chamber Orchestra of Oslo.

Julia Zenko is also an actress, appearing on many television soap operas, and starring in various musicals including Son Compasión with Raul Lavie, El Show de las Divorciadas, Zorba el Griego, directed by Helena Tritek, Amanecí y tú no estabas with María José Gabin, directed by Alicia Zanca, Orestes, último Tango by Betty Gambartes and Diego Villa, and performing in the Netherlands and Argentina with Carlos Vittori, Susana Moncayo and Rodolfo Valss.

She has received several awards including the Prensario Award, Konez, ACE, Festbuga in Colombia and Grammy and Grammy Latino, as well as numerous accolades for her involvement with human rights and against discrimination.
