After completing his diploma in church music in 1997 at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, David Lundblad studied conducting at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, graduating in 1999. He has worked with several leading ensembles including the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Opera Orchestra, Gothenburg Opera Chorus (as Chorusmaster 2004-2009), Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Gothenburg Wind Orchestra, Finnish Radio Chamber Choir, and made several recordings for radio, television and CD. He is currently principal conductor of Gothenburg Symphonic Band and Dalasinfoniettans Choir. He also conducts his own vocal ensemble ‘Nordiska vokalensemblen’.
