Diana Ketler was born in Riga into a well-known family of musicians. She gave her debut at the age of 11 under the baton of Vassily Sinaisky. DianaKetler has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in almost every European country, Japan, Canada, USA and Russia with the Salzburger Kammerphilharmonie, the Münchener Bachorchester, the Kobe, Munich and Riga Chamber Orchestras and the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra.
Diana Ketler has given recitals at the Glenn Gould Studios in Toronto, at the South Bank in London, at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, the Tokyo Opera City Hall, the Suntory Hall and the Osaka Symphony Hall. She performs regularly at renowned festivals such as the Lucerne Festival, Wiener Festwochen and Gstaad Musikfestival, Oxford Chamber Music Festival and Elverum Festspiele. As a member of Ensemble Raro she regularly tours Europe, the USA and Japan. In 2009/2010 she made her debut at Musashino Hall in Tokio, Konzerthaus and Musikverein in Vienna and at Carnegie Hall in New York. Since 2004 Diana has been artistic director of the Chiemgauer Musikfrühling Festival in Germany and artistic advisor of the SoNoRo Festival. Since 2001 Diana Ketler has taught piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
